  • EASA theoretical exams

We are currently working on a new examination platform. The launch date, the procedures, and the examination regulations will be published here as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can take your exam at another competent authority. To this end, please contact an EASA Member State of your choice.

    Radio exams

We are currently only organising radio exams for pilots with a pilot licence (student pilot licence not allowed).

The exam consists of two parts:

    • The theoretical part deals with the telecommunication procedures contained in Volume II of Annex 10 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, and the regulations contained in the AIP Belgium and Luxembourg, and in the Part-SERA.
    • The practical part requires conversation and use of radiotelephony phrases in the English language, contacting air traffic control authorities during a fictitious VFR flight.

The certificate itself is issued by the Belgian Institute for Postal Services and Telecommunications.
